Today.

SO.

I feel like this was kind of a big fat failure. We made all these plans!... and did nothing.
Absolutamente nada.

What's up with that.

I think we should keep up with this so we can try again next summer. And not have the score be
UNIVERSE :1 OBIG: 0

Come on people. Let's pick up the slack.

Slash... let's tell goofy stories here about what happens to us throughout the year. I'll start:

Today I was waiting for the bus and a couple of creeper guys were sitting around the bus stop. I wasn't really sure what to do (I had to wait for the bus!) when one of the guys said, "Hello. How are you today?" and proceeded to tell me about his day at the beach. He said it was really fun and they met all kinds of interesting people there, most of them who were making comments about his swimsuit. He proceeded to lift up his shirt- as I started freaking out, he said, "It's appropriate!"- and showed me his very modest purple one-piece. Weird. Then he pulled down his shorts just a little bit to show me the mini skirt that was attached. "Isn't it cute?" Oh. My. Gosh. I also noticed that he had just recently shaved his legs and was wearing toe nail polish; he was wearing sandals so he could show it off. He finished telling me about his day, shook my hand and said, "Nice to meet you! By the way, I'm Robert. Goodbye!" and left.

When I got home and told Kenyan this story, she said, "You have the weirdest friends."

  2. haha. nice. that's weird 'cause a similar thing happened to me except it wasn't as creepy. some friends and i were at hogi yogi and we were being kind of loud. pretty soon this guy comes over and says hi. my first thought was that he was an employee coming to kick us out, but then he asks to sit down (as he's doing so) and then sits down right next to me. my friends were all freaking out (mostly the girls which i thought was totally unnecessary considering they were across the table from him.) he swore, i don't even remember why, and kept saying he wasn't a creeper. one of the other girls that wasn't freaking out told us not to tell him our real names. we were all nervous/thought it was kind of funny except for a few girls. his friend finally came over and told him to leave. i thought it was kind of dumb when the girls who freaked told me the next day that the whole thing was my fault. that their first reaction would have been to scoot over (closer to him) so he wouldn't have room to sit down. right. one fun story for me.
and Alyssa's right. we need to plan something that we actually do. i can't believe i was at girls' camp when you guys came up here. we need to come out there next time.
